We often get asked where we come up with some of these names. In this case it was easy. Della Terra is Italian for “From the Earth.” What more do we need to say? It’s the perfect description for this wonderful style. Each piece is hand fitted with a very high end tightly woven fabric wrap, in either black or white. Each frame is handcrafted in and imported from Italy, and are sourced from sustainable forestry programs. All you have to do is pick which frame and linen works best for you. We’d been three weeks in the field at this point. While we had been able to experience a number of wonderful scenes unfold during that time, what was about to happen was way outside our expectations.
“Run Forest, Run!” I’d called to Trey. He literally had to run back up the trail to where we’d parked the truck to retrieve more film – because we’d run out.
It’s rare that I ever run out of film while shooting a scene. This though, was the sunset that just wouldn’t stop – it kept coming and coming and coming. Run Forest, Run! Thank goodness he’s in such good shape.
