We often get asked where we come up with some of these names. In this case it was easy. Della Terra is Italian for “From the Earth.” What more do we need to say? It’s the perfect description for this wonderful style. Each piece is hand fitted with a very high end tightly woven fabric wrap, in either black or white. Each frame is handcrafted in and imported from Italy, and are sourced from sustainable forestry programs. All you have to do is pick which frame and linen works best for you. I found myself joyfully waiting for the wind to calm, watching as the reeds moved gently across the hillside. The aspens were at perfect peak and the scene reminded me of a romance movie. As I waited for the starlet to walk over the horizon dressed in white my memory of home and my own family came to mind. Oh how I love them so.
The wind paused, after hours of waiting, and the moment was stilled, the shutter exposed the film and I knew my task was complete. But I could not leave this serene setting and lazed another few hours. An entire day lost on the Aspen Hillside.
