We often get asked where we come up with some of these names. In this case it was easy. Della Terra is Italian for “From the Earth.” What more do we need to say? It’s the perfect description for this wonderful style. Each piece is hand fitted with a very high end tightly woven fabric wrap, in either black or white. Each frame is handcrafted in and imported from Italy, and are sourced from sustainable forestry programs. All you have to do is pick which frame and linen works best for you. We had just spent a week in the Redwoods National Park, it was amazing. Along the way back to the Peak Haus Studio LeeAnna mentioned “where to next?” Casually I suggested stopping into the Grand Canyon in Northern Arizona.
What I did not expect was her overwhelming joy! You see, and I didn’t know this, but she had never been to the Grand Canyon! It saddened me that after all these years this was the first I was hearing this. How could I have been so remiss?
Well I knew just where to go for the best chance of showing her an amazing sunset along the canyon rim. What I did not know was just how amazing it would turn out.
She cried with joy. I hope you do too.
