We often get asked where we come up with some of these names. In this case it was easy. Della Terra is Italian for “From the Earth.” What more do we need to say? It’s the perfect description for this wonderful style. Each piece is hand fitted with a very high end tightly woven fabric wrap, in either black or white. Each frame is handcrafted in and imported from Italy, and are sourced from sustainable forestry programs. All you have to do is pick which frame and linen works best for you. I’ve seen dawn’s first light stretch across some of the largest mountain ranges in the world. Been fortunate enough to witness a host of mother nature’s miracles and marveled time and again at her simplistic beauty. And, I’ve done it a lot in my short life thus far.
It was my last night in Hawaii and I knew I was going to miss it. So I took a drive, literally to the end of the road, to watch the sunset. With time to spare before the sun was to set I sat mesmerized by the waves as they came in one after another, lulled nearly to sleep when these monster waves came rolling in.
At just the right moment, not unlike opportunities in life, the largest of the waves peaked at its height and I tripped the shutter as the off shore breeze created a scene I shall not soon forget.
The stilling of a moment of “Momentum” allowing us to review what makes such a word so powerful puts me at peace because I know how truly rare it is.
