We often get asked where we come up with some of these names. In this case it was easy. Della Terra is Italian for “From the Earth.” What more do we need to say? It’s the perfect description for this wonderful style. Each piece is hand fitted with a very high end tightly woven fabric wrap, in either black or white. Each frame is handcrafted in and imported from Italy, and are sourced from sustainable forestry programs. All you have to do is pick which frame and linen works best for you. In a set of remote mountains a group of monks set out on a journey along a rugged trail. They walked in silence, with only the sound of their footsteps and heavy breathing breaking the stillness of the surrounding wilderness. The monks were on a mission to find a place of solace in these remote mountains.
As they walked, the trail became steeper and more treacherous, with sheer drops on either side. But the monks remained undaunted, their faith in their mission and their training as monks giving them the strength and courage to continue. They battled fierce winds and freezing temperatures, but still they pressed on. Finally, after many long and difficult days, they reached their destination, where they decided to stay.
Perhaps they’ve stayed too long as one by one they began to truly become one with nature. If you look closely, you can still see them, showering in the falls.
